Trevarno Skin Care

I have suffered with eczema for many years. For a while it did disappear and I thought perhaps that was the end of it but in recent years it has slowly returned and now it's back with vengeance!

I have tried just about every shop bought and prescribed skin care range including steroid creams that you can think of. To a certain degree they have worked but have always been short lived as my skin seemed to build up some kind of resistance to them working.

My hands have always suffered the most and as a busy mum they do seem to take a beating. I have been frantically searching for something alternative products to use. I feel that doctors have helped me as much as they can with prescribing steroid creams and giving me advice but after years of frustration with my skin I would like to give something else a go.

In my search for organic skin care I came across Trevarno. I found them through the Make it British website and liked the look of the products. Trevarno products designed and hand made on Trevarno Farm on the Cornish coast. They were established in 1998 so they aren't a new company but they are constantly evolving their skin care range.

I was unsure which cream or balm to go for as they had such a lovely sounding selection to choose from. I was pleased to find they had a 'Try Me' sample pack. You can pick out 3 either 5ml or 10ml sample pots of different products to try. This size is ideal as it is just enough to find out which one is right for you.

I placed an order for a few sample pots to really try out their products and an Organic Camomile Soap. I received them the very next day! I absolutely love the packaging. The Camomile soap smells great and each of the creams and balms smell 'organic'.

I opted to try out the Restorative Balm on my hands, as they definitely need 'restoring'. As its a balm a little goes a long way but the minute I put it on I could almost see the difference. It sounds like an exaggeration but my skin actually looked instantly hydrated. Even after the first couple of applications I can see that my skin is looking and feeling so much better and has finally started to heal after months of desperation.

Its fair to say that I will definitely be buying a large tub of the Restorative Balm and a couple more mini pots to carry about with me. I think I will be trying out the full range they have to offer. If they can do so much for my hands in such a short space of time I would love to see what the rest of their products can do. At the minute I can't thank Trevarno and it's wonderful products enough!
